I loved decoders as a kid. I would take out the red lens and find a hidden message in whatever activity book I had. It made me feel like a detective with information only I knew. The two-tone decoder makes so much sense with Superman and his secret identity.
Another cool piece of the design I created was the decoder tag. I made a phone booth for Clark/ Superman to change in!
